I am so glad that we at UA put the Civil War behind us a long time ago. It seems that many of the folks in Oxford have been slow to appreciate how Ole Miss’ “traditions” have been a millstone around their collective neck for years, especially in the area of recruiting. To their credit, the mods at RCR, who seem to be right-thinking fellows, were appalled at the prospect of having the KKK on campus before the game with LSU, as well they should be. A dumb but vocal minority in their fanbase has attracted the wrong kind of attention. Every fanbase has its share of twerps. But when said twerps wrap themselves in a Confederate flag, they tend to get noticed. What a shame for Ole Miss.
