Fans Urged To Use Caution Against Counterfeit Tickets For Iron Bowl
Auburn's athletic department issues a warning for counterfeit tickets to the upcoming Iron Bowl. Legit tickets can be identified by four security features they outline in this press release. If you have a doubt about tickets you can go to the West Will Call Booth and a ticket office staff member will check security features and verify if the ticket is authentic.

I bought counterfeit tickets at the SECCG Last year
and they had basically every security measure they listed. Short of having a real ticket to compare it to, I don’t know of any way I’d have been able to tell.
Where we screwed up was not demanding that the ticket seller go with us to will call to check on the ticket. DO THAT. If they don’t want to, it’s probably not worth your time.
I'm wrong all the time.

Stubhub
still has Auburn tickets in the $150 each range. Amazing, $150, considering I sold some tickets to the UT Chatt scrimage on Stubhub for $100 each. With Stubhub you do have a garuntee. You will probably need to pick them up in Auburn but they can handle that.
I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

Caution
I work in ticketing, and I don’t want to be all hey I’m an expert on this listen to me, but Stubhub’s guarantee is your ticket OR YOUR MONEY BACK. So its not exactly a guarantee, if you plan on being at the game.
Also, for the SEC Championship game, the ticket office I believe will check your tickets on the day of the game when they open and tell you if the ticket is legitimate or not, FYI.

True- But
if you get your money back from Stubhub then you can buy one the street. Well, you will need to have the cash on hand as the money back will come in the mail.
Furthermore- Someone selling counterfeit tickets on Stubhub stands a chance of being caught since they have a credit card, a mailing address, etc.. The dude on the street just runs away. But, if you buy a fake ticket form Stubhub the guy selling the ticket could go to jail, making it seem not worth it to most would be counterfieters. And if you buy an unknown counterfiet from Stubhub the week before the game the check or the paypal won’t even be processed until after the game so how in the world could a counterfeiter hope to even collect the money.
However, I’d never buy a ticket off Craig’s List. That looks like a scam waiting to happen to me.

You got $100 for UTC tix?
Need to start unloading my unused tix on StubHub apparently.

Yes.
And this year, well I made about $2000 selling left over tickets on Stubhub, and I still went to every game.
As long as we are winning Bama tickets are like gold. Now, lose to Penn St. & UF next year and then the MSU tickets will be worth face value. And Ga State, well you couldn’t sell them.

Barn fans are practically
giving these tickets away.
Why would they want to go to a bludgeoning?
