Ronnie Cottrell Article
A very fascinating article about one of the best recruiters ever. He definitely changed recruiting in the college game.
His time at Alabama will always be remembered for the sanctions that occured at Alabama after he was fired. I am sure some people still blame him for Alabama getting on probation. He was coaching at the high school level in Mobile, but I read recently that he was fired.

Correct, it was at Alma Bryant technically in the Grand Bay/Bayou La Batre area outside of Mobile. He was only there for one season. Bryant used to be a powerhouse in 6A when Rush Propst was the coach.

I believe him
I believe that he is innocent. I think the NCAA is corrupt and hates Alabama, especially since Alabama had the first successful appeal against them. I blame Phat Fulmer, the NCAA and Culpepper. I hope things work out for him and he wins his appeal and then is able to get on with his life. The NCAA is the most corrupt organization outside of the IRS and the Obama administration.
