Just a really special piece, on why this Alabama team has been so fun, and special to watch all season.

I enjoyed immensely

So true.
What else would you say, about a game that….seemed to create a new hero on every possession? That had no less than 25 plays that literally felt game changing and season altering as they happened?

There were so many times during that game where I turned to person sitting next to me and said, “This might be the game right here.”

Re:

No problem, this article just shows how captivating a selfless, “team first,” group can capture the imagination of everyone, not just born and bred fans

this says it all
What made the win, and has made this season so special for Alabama, is that for the Tide, there isn’t one Tim Tebow type that throws the team on his back, and carries them to the finish line in big games. Instead it’s the team, willing each other to the same outcome. No game personified it better than this one.

You can't win. You can't break even. You can't get out of the game.
