Alabama Basketball Upsets Michigan

I know we are all excited about the big win over Auburn in one of the most mind-numbingly frustratingexciting Iron Bowls I've witnessed in my 21 years, and we are all pissing ourselves in anticipation for the de facto National Championship game this weekend in Atlanta. However, I think it's important to remember that our Basketball team is playing in the Old Spice Classic, and today Alabama upset No. 15 Michigan. It was an exciting game with JaMychal Green leading the scoring for the Tide with 20. You have to be impressed with what Grant has done with this team so far even with the two losses. Hopefully they can continue to win some games and show that Alabama's athletic program is not just a one-trick pony.

Here's the Gentry Estes article on the game.

Big win for the program.

This team’s showing some spunk. They were down 10+ and came back to get the win. Gottfried’s teams would get down and then just roll over and get blown out. I’m pleased that we’re competing well. This portends well for the conference slate, I hope.

Green...

…is incredible. Not only did he lead in scoring, he scored the winning points on a put back, then he rejected the final shot by Michigan. Suck it, Brian Cook Wolverines.
