Prediction Time

Just two days until game time!!  Thought it would be fun to start a prediction post.  No outlandish comments such as bama will win by 400 points and Tebow will be injured during the game (although if ingram wore a three wolves and a moon t-shirt, see Greatest Shirt in the World, it could happen).  Lets keep it to what we really think will happen, if you are interested.

Here goes, and I'll start it off with a couple:

1.  Ingram rushes for greater than 150

2.  Cody scores a rushing touchdown

FanPosts are just that; posts created by the fans. They are in no way indicative of the opinions of SBN and the authors of Roll Bama Roll.

My Prediction is

Bama 34
LSU 21
Ingram more than 150 and two td’s
Mclroy comes back and well rested and has his head screwed on so tight.. 2 td’s no int
Leigh Tiffin 1 fg obviously
Tebow 3 douchebag awards

by bamachargers on Nov 5, 2009 4:13 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

Only 1 fg for Tiffin?

I think you’ll need another fg to get to 34.

Bama should win

but not as big as some think I’m going Bama 16 to LSU 7.

Tiffin adds 3 FG’s & Ingram gets 1 TD on 90 yards rushing. GMac throws for 145 yds.
LSU held to 250 yards and 1 rushing TD.

UF stings Vandy 59-7, as Tebow adds stats for his Heisman bid, 3 running and 3 passing TD’s .

Auburn over Furman 48-10 and UT over Memphis 28-20.

I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

Largely agree, but

UT covers the 26 against Memphis.

Bama wins

24 – 9.

Ingram gets a rushing TD in the first. Field goal before half.

GMac hits Maze on a long ball on the first drive of the third quarter for a second TD.

Then Upchurch takes one in halfway through the 4th to put the game on ice.

LSU gets 0 touchdowns and 3 field goals, 2 in the first half, one in the third quarter.

Ingram has 150+ yds, GMac throws for around 150.

23-20

Game winning TD pass to Julio with under a minute left.

SEC Teams

Non of these teams should make it to the BCS Title. I hope for an LSU win despite liking Bama more..

by PZIP on Nov 5, 2009 6:03 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

WTF did you say?

No seriously, what are you saying? “Non of these teams should make it…” Are you saying that no SEC team should go to the NCG? If so, you are the only person in the country that thinks an undefeated Bama or Florida should be passed over for a Texas v. ______ (Iowa, Cinci or Boise). Have you been eating paint chips?

Then you say that you like Bama but your hoping for an LSU win? Sounds to me like your bat shit crazy or you’ve been huffing keyboard cleaner. In either case, thanks for your insightful prediction(oh wait…).

P.S. You strike me as one of those weird dudes that pulls their pants all the way down to their ankles to take a leak at the public urinal? Your just sitting there pissing away, chewing on your tongue while everyone else is nervously laughing while frantically trying to find the open stall furthest away from you.

Bama

I just can’t respect a Bama team that plays Chatanooga, Florida Int’l, and North Texas. Why should any team make it to a title game with wins like this?

Get a life.

We play these non-con guys for the money and if you don’t understand that you don’t understand what makes football work. By the way, they play us for the money too.

WE play Penn St. next year is that good enough for you?

And even if didn’t play anyone out of conference (which we have played VT, Clem, Houston, and FSU in the last 3 years) if we win the SEC undefeated no one questions our schedule.

I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

FLorida

As for Florida, Charleston Southern, Florida Int’l and Troy don’t count for much either…that is three fluff wins.

by PZIP on Nov 5, 2009 6:09 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

schedule

Troy is 6-2 and would probably be Big East champs.
Charleston Southern was a schedule filler after Utah backed out.

The rest are just weak, can’t help those things.

Prediction: Bama 19 LSU 10

by skigator93 on Nov 5, 2009 7:13 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

skigator, there’s no point in defending your team; PZIP is just hyped after LSU crushed their dominating adversary…who was that again? Oh, that’s right, Tulane.

As for Troy, you enjoy giving those Alabama-based teams respect, don’t you skigator? :)

yeah you make good points

clearly boise st and cinci deserve title shots over Bama and Texas. boise did have to play san jose state ON THE ROAD, and shit, how long has it been since the big east has produced an undefeated team? that right there should speak to the level of competition in that conference, why bet Rutgers was really the best int he int he country back in 06.

Bama 147 - LSU 62

Was the score on my little boy’s NCAA Football 360 game. But that seems unlikely.

So I’m going to go with ’Bama 28-LSU 10.

And I hope you’re right and Coach let’s Cody take the field on offense again. I love to see that.

by Queen of the Universe on Nov 5, 2009 6:52 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

It’s going to be a short TD pass to Cody, and BDS will set a new volume record.

Pee-zip is crazy...

…. Anyhow,
Bama 27 – LSWho 10
Ingram scores 1 rushing & 1 receiving TD
Julio catches a 46 yards touchdown pass (from Mark Ingram)
& no game would be complete without a couple of Leigh Tiffin FG’s

Trindon Holliday scores on a kickoff return
they also get a meaningless FG late in the game

Prediction

Alabama – 46 relative to’s
LSU – DAMN STRONG FOOTBALL TEEM

Who wins? Shit if I know…

by Bama philosophe on Nov 6, 2009 8:14 AM CST reply actions   0 recs

BAMA 27 - lsu

our O starts kinda slow, but controls the entire 2nd half. BAMA w 200 yards rushing and 210 passing, and 2 easy scores created by the D and/or Javier. LSU doesn’t get 3 consecutive first down at any point in the entire game, they finish w/ less than 275 total yards, they could a had more than 3 points but get stopped on downs late in the game as they know FG’s wont help them any more.

formerly damn strong football team looks like a bunch of tired little girls as we eat 22 minutes of second half clock and continue to run up the score.

GMac has a breakout game.....

passing for 2 TD’s 235 yards 0-INT’s. Mark Ingram rushes for 112 yds and 1-TD. Javy takes a punt to the house and the refs call a celebration penalty. This sends Saban over the edge. He grabs Dante Hightowers crutch and throws it at the refs, it misses and slides onto the LSU sidelines beside Les Miles feet. Nico Johnson who was in the vicinity after blocking an LSU defender in the back reaches to grab his wounded team mates prostetic device and accidently knocks off Coach Miles’ hat. Then suddenly Gary Danielson notices a small black antenna stemming from Les’s head. Gary comments on the coaches blemmish and says it’s probably an instument used in gathering information for the mother ship. The officials notice the electronic device and flag Miles for having a non FCC aproved sending unit. Thus offsetting the penalties and giving Bama the normal spot for kickoff………………..just kidding guys.

Bama 23 lsu 6

Gmac gets 200+ yards 1 td pass, Ingram 150+ yards 1 Td Tiffin 3 fgs. We hold LSU to under 100 yards rushing and under 200 yards passing, Bama D gets 5 sacks and 3 turnovers.

Knocking on wood. Good god I am nervous about this one.

Here we go...

nerves or not:

GMAC gets back on track, throws for 180+/1 TD to JJ
Ingram big game, 150+/2TDS
LSU is absolutely shutdown, but they get a big play from Shep and force a turnover to get on the board

for some reason i don't feel good about his game

but, its lsu – Tide wins in a close one.

23 – 19

Ingram runs for around 120 yds
McElroy is efficient passing for 140 yds

Miles breaks down at the handshake, gets on his knees and begs forgiveness from Saban. haha – not really but it would be funny.

Good news, everyone!

LSU will be no match for our atomic supermen.

Bama – 30

McElroy finds Julio, and his swagger.
Javy burns them again for old times sake.
Barron’s 3 INTs make him the SEC Defensive Player of the Week.

Bama 27 - LSU 10.

Ingram has a banner day against LSU’s front 7. 100+ yards and 2 TDs.

McElroy improves, find’s Julio in the end zone for a TD pass.

Tiffin hits two field goals – one to end the first half; one to put the game away late in the fourth.

LSU gets 3 in the first half, and the TD late in the fourth to make the score respectable.
