This is the preliminary sketch of Daniel Moore's "Maximum Block" from the good folks at New Life Art. Click this link to get your fix at their website (warning: PDF file).
Admittedly, I haven't been a big fan of much of Moore's recent works. I didn't particularly like either The Blackout or The Blowout, but the early sketch of this one looks dang good. This one would look damn nice right alongside my Rocky Stop print.

Julio is in his 2nd Moore print
Odd when you think about it.
I bought The Blackout. I agree about it not being the greatest, but it sure is fun to have when you live in Georgia :-)
Fumbles. It was always Fumbles

Lol, exactly...
And the thing I don’t like about The Blackout is the split image. If it had just been of Julio reeling it in, I think it would have been a great painting. Again, though, the split screen screws it all up for me, and something about the scale and proportion of Wilson just doesn’t seem right to me.

That's a nice sketch...
…but Julio is way too low, as he had already left our atmosphere by that point in the play….

Personally...
I would prefer if it were a “widescreen” print, if you will. I don’t like this “portrait” orientation as much as I would if it included some background like the larger versions of the picture.

Oh yeah
And I’m still not sure I will buy something called “Maximum Block” when “Rocky Block” is right there for the taking.

I like 'Blocky Stop'...
…and ‘Kick, Tennessee, Kick’….

Not a fan of the “Rocky blah” puns.

I would have
like to see it more from a side angle where you could see Saban leaping in the air to “help” get that penetration. and the players on the sideline reacting in joy.

Also
Daniel Moore better not do too many of these things. He needs to do only the really special occasions in Bama football (like this one) and not just any good win, see “Rocky Stop” or “The Blackout” because while those were good, they weren’t “Need to be imortalized on canvas good.”
Don’t run to the well too much Mr. Moore, all I’m saying.
