"It's going to be electric," MSU athletics director Greg Byrne said.
Byrne expects the largest crowd in the history of Davis Wade Stadium when third-ranked Alabama (9-0, 6-0 SEC) visits Mississippi State (4-5, 2-3) at 6 p.m. Saturday in a game to be televised nationally by ESPN. For this game only, the Bulldogs have brought in temporary seating and sold standing room-only tickets to match the demand.

it would be a shame if a bunch of those extra tickets dont make their way into the hands of Tide fans
what is it? like 90 minute drive from T-town to starkdad?
welcome to the SEC kiffykins...
Alabama and Mississippi State...
…are physically the two closest teams in the conference. FWIW, I think it’s more like 75-80 mins. I went there twice while living in Tuscaloosa and it doesn’t take long at all to get there.
I didn't mean it in a nitpicky...
…“Ha ha you’re wrong, I’m right kind of way” FWIW. I only mentioned it, because he seemed unsure about the distance/time.
I didn't think you did :)
That’s just one of my all-time favorite movie quotes. I use it whenever possible…

yeah i always heard it was our "home away from home" from my pops
man, what are we gonna do after this weeks game? two whole weeks after that with nothing but patsies on the schedule. i hope we dont lose our edge during that two week lull. hopefully coach treats it like camp and we get a lot of quality reps, and keep the focus up.

pretty sure the reason they're expecting a record crowd is
because they expect a whole lot of Bama fans there.
I'm gonna come at you like a spider monkey.
Call me crazy, but I've got a bad feeling about this game.
I’ll be more nervous going into this one, than I was Tennessee and LSU combined.
PS: ROLL TIDE!!
I must say I have my concerns:
Serious post big game let-down potential, I’m sure we’re at least a little banged up, they’ve had a bye week to prepare, they’ll be extra motivated (if that’s possible) due to last year’s route, and this is a very good 4-5 team. I still feel like we’ll win of course, but this will be NO cakewalk.
really?
i think we’re going to LIGHT THEM UP. like a 40 point win. our O is itching to get back on track and we were oh so close to running on all cylinders vs LSU, but still had some mistakes/missed opportunities. i liken our recent performance on O to a case of whiskey dick that gets in your head and drags on to another night. well by then it’s REALLY in your head and you cant stop thinking about it. then you finally pull a chick, get her home, and nature takes care of itself (the LSU game). well now your confidence is restored, and you’re ready to go lay some SERIOUS wood. thats where i feel we’re at this week. ready to lay some tracks on that ass, MSU’s ass in particular.
I’m taking us to cover no matter the spread this week.
welcome to the SEC kiffykins...
I kinda agree...
I think this one will be close for just a bit, then BAMA runs away with it.
ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!

it'd probably benefit their mental healh for the long term, if they blackout first. maybe take 20 shots and a buncha beer bongs, or just some GHB.
cause this is going to hurt.

Miss State...
…has looked pretty good all season. I’m nervous about every game, but for this one I might need some more wine than usual to calm the butterflies.
