Thank You!!!

As I sit here tonight after what could prove to be my last day at work after a couple of tough, tough years, I’ve realized something. The Crimson Tide have always meant a lot to me but watching our beloved team blossom into the team they are today over two of the toughest years of my life have been extra special. I guess you could say they have been my sunshine on a rainy day. I wanted to take this opportunity to send out a great big thank you to the "Bama Nation" for making the last couple of years a lot easier to cope with. I wouldn’t be posting this on here were it not for the fact that I can’t help but think there are others out there that feel the same way. The current economy has affected several of us if not all of us over the last few years, and to be a part of something as special as what’s been taking place in Tuscaloosa over the last couple of years is very exciting. Even if that part is very, very small. So regardless of the outcome Saturday this team is a very big winner in my book. Thanks for everything.

Sincerely,

A very proud Crimson Tide fan!

PS

Go beat the hell out of those Gators!

RTR...

But please, don’t let money control your life! You have to find multiple things in your life that make you happy. Love your family and friends every chance you get because this time won’t last forever! At some point you just have to say “f it” and enjoy the good things. If you got laid off or your out of work then take this time to reflect and improve yourself. The past couple of years have been real tough on me, and just recently I just started to focus on the things I can control like: going out and exercising, reading the books I always said I was going to read but never got around to it, going back to school… In “the process” I learned how to communicate with my wife better and have a better relationship with my family now. So, I guess you can say that these tough financial times have been a blessing for me. I feel your pain and can totally sympathize with you. Thank god for Bama and the people we love, and cheers to “overcoming adversity!”

Sorry I had to get that off my chest cause I know how it feels…
