Bleacher Report is a blog not an article.
What is wrong with having your own opinion?
I am not denying that there is truth to his argument, but calling people out, for their opinion, is pretty silly.

I agree...
…and even though the number of voters who left him off from Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi does raise an eyebrow…who cares, really? This is the most ridiculous award in college football. How do you decide if an RB is better than a QB…or a DT, for that matter? Every now and then a player comes along who completely blows your mind, but this year? For an offensive player, Mark Ingram comes closest (ask Ole Miss, South Carolina, Florida…), but guys like Keenum, Masoli, and even Teebs have made a decent case for themselves. I’ll admit to homerism, but my top three would be Ro, Ingy, and Suh, possibly in that order. Does Ro have a chance to win? No. But he’s the best player on the best defense on the best team in the country…the QB of that D…so I just can’t see choosing someone else.
Of course, as I’ve said before, if we beat Texas, who really cares who wins this silly trophy?

Hey look!
I didn’t know Kevin Scarbinsky was on RBR!
Nice votes….but Ingram should be on top since Ro isn’t in the running.
Hey...look!
I didn’t know Ann Coulter was on RBR!
Nice comments…but the Heisman has a tradition of sucking, so I’ll focus on the real prize….

part of me
hopes he doesn’t even win the damn thing so he can go out and give the voters a big middle finger to the tune of about 175 rushing and a couple td’s in the title game.
that would be nice..
the heisman is a nice award but in the scheme of things, it really doesn’t matter and i’d rather have national champs than heisman winners. the plains can keep the heismans we will take the national championships.
Per Chris Low this morning....
According to this week’s NCAA statistics, Ingram faced six of the top 28 defenses in the country (No. 4 Florida, No. 14 Virginia Tech, No. 15 South Carolina, No. 16 Tennessee, No. 24 Ole Miss and No. 28 LSU). And in those six games, Ingram rushed for 924 yards, averaging 154 yards per game and scoring seven touchdowns.
Enough Said.
It angers me,
but should we expect any thing different from our little sisters?
I haven't seen a beatin' like that since somebody stuck a banana in my pants and turned a monkey loose!
I stopped reading here:
I’ll start by piling on Birmingham News own Kevin Scarbinski. In what has to be an attempt to shine a little of the light on himself(no surprise there), he voted for two Alabama players in his ballot. What was fishy, was his order.
Rolando McClain garnered his top vote, with Ingram taking second. While McClain is probably hands down, the best player on Bama’s team, why take points away from Ingram in a race he could win?
He admits that Ro is a better player but thinks that Scarbinsky should vote for Ingram because he has a better chance to win? That’s just dumb.
I'm wrong all the time.
Yeah...
…that would be like voting for Al Gore when you prefer Ralph Nader…or George H.W. Bush when you prefer H. Ross Perot….

If he has a record of voting his conscience absolutely and not adhering to the offensive bias group think, then I wouldn’t have a problem with it. If not, and he was simply using his vote to make a statement, then this was not the year to do it.
What you're seeing is team spirit. It's like the Holy Spirit, but more powerful.

If all 17 of these guys
really think Ingram is #4 or lower- fine.
If they kept him off because they don’t like Bama well that is very sad indeed. But, if their hatred of all things Bama goes that deep they really should have voted him in, hoped he won, and then that would be a big distraction for the BCS game. In other words an Ingram win makes the NC harder for Bama to obtain.
Plus we all know how Heisman winners have often struggled in their bowl game- just because it is such a distraction etc.
So maybe they really want Bama to beat Texas and thus left Ingram off.
I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.
Maybe...
…the memories of their teams’ losses were so painful that they erased any traces of them, hence they don’t really ‘know’ how good #22 really is….
