question..
whats the differnce in the Maxwell and Heisman?
"The goal is to be a champion," Saban said. "I didn’t say to win a championship. I just said be a champion. That’s our goal here. That’s what we want to do."- Nick Saban
Heisman is
for “most outstanding player” Maxwell is for “player of the year”
/distinction without a difference.

Just to repost it here
I looked at some of the numbers for the Doak, and came up with this:

Thoughts?

Seriously, Herbie
I would give a million dollars — if I had a million dollars — for you to ask Tebow, “Are you going to cry now, baby?”
Another million for him to say
“I’m sorry baby, Verne isn’t on this network.”

I hate Tebow for so many reason
but when you strip him down (no homo), he seems like a decent guy

Yeap, Gerhart
Beasty TD stat and consistency did I think. Talent though? Spiller or Ingram, definately.
Tennessee Fans: We win at teh Internet!
I live in ACC country
And have watched Spiller his whole career. He is amazing, and if he weren’t injured all year he would have won. I think he will be a major star in the NFL in my opinion. I think he’s the most explosive player in CFB.

He's good, but
Purely as a RB, no way. He did a lot of damage on special teams, but was 28th in the nation in rushing.
He's one of those fun-to-watch
“speed” backs. He doesn’t have the power to be an every-down back, but jeebus he is shifty.

I wonder what they talk about…
I would love to know
what Cody was thinking about that made him laugh like that!

No clue...
… I’m getting a slow page load on RBR right now, but I’m also getting one on most web sites, so I think it’s probably an ISP issue on my end.

Aaawwwhhh
Such a cute skit.
Leigh Tiffin should win this one, imo. Isn’t he 2nd all time in FGs?

we got a crystal award to win

its really the only one we care about
the others are nice, but we just don’t care.
Alabama...
Not getting these things. I thought that should have gone to Tiffin, but Forbath is pretty great too.

Forbath was impressive
In UCLA’s win over UT.

Don't great players give their team the best chance to win???
and needing Army to win to get a bowl birth sounds pretty pathetic or is this a feel good show?
Got that winning feelin'
Nick always looks like he's tolerating the media
And they should be thankful he is spending time with them
I don't believe we're gonna hear "Yea Alabama"
Looks like a West/Midwest “Look at Me” show, since it doesn’t happen in the rankings.

ok i have to admit it...
i’m sorta hoping mccoy wins the heisman to make the parallel to 92 even stronger.

It says something
To have a guy in so many different categories. I thought, personally, that Tiffin should have won the Groza, but Gerhart over Ingram and — presumably — Sugh over Cody I do understand. I think Ingram has a very good shot at the Maxwell, though.
Tennessee Fans: We win at teh Internet!
Suh will win
And all due respect to Mt. Cody, I still can’t figure out why he was a finalist instead of McClain.
while I have your attention...
go read the “Championship buttons” fanpost and help me out please!

Kelly for Coach of the year...
and he’s leaving to go to ND. Fantastic.
also Chris Fowler should leave Kelly alone
it was obvious he wasn’t going to talk about it
I say call him out on it...
I think it is funny. He got a coach of the year award for coaching a team that he has already said he will not be coaching next year…

Not to be a homer, but if Coach Saban is not the hands down winner then I don’t know what to think about that

but does that surprise anyone?
does anyone know...
whether the Maxwell winner usually wins the Heisman as well?

I mean I am all for the fact that we work as a TEAM and therefore have a difficult time winning individual awards but COME ON!! I can’t believe the number one team in the country is walking away with an Assistant Coach award, and that is all…
