Ingram

That strong side / weak side "analysis" comes from the hilarious folks over at The Onion, and yes I suppose that means that Ingram has indeed hit the big-time.

The Onion...

does some funny work. This is not funny work.

Yeah...

This one kind of misses the boat, but the one on Jim Brown’s pretty funny.

Mostly not that funny...

But “Averages 40 things per whatever” made me chuckle.

The Brandon Jennings was decent

“Knows not to give the ball to anyone else on the Bucks” cracked me up.

The Onion can be quite funny, but.....

sports is clearly not their forté. Even the Jim Brown one was only so-so.

You can't win. You can't break even. You can't get out of the game.

Look I'm never 'this' guy

but did that come off as a combination of Northern elitism/racist to anyone else?

The kid is in college but because he’s a black running back at ALABAMA he takes bribes to come to here, will ultimately ‘mess up’ (commit a crime) in the next six months, and doesn’t know the difference between Crimson and red?

Sorry, but stuff like this just pisses me off.

"There would be no fourth-quarter rally this time, either. No muscle flexes, sideline dashes or screaming fits could save the Gators' 22-game winning streak. The second-ranked Crimson Tide turned their long-anticipated SEC Championship Game rematch with No. 1 Florida into a three-and-a-half hour bludgeoning, punching their ticket to the BCS National Championship Game" -- Stewart Mandel--Sports Illustrated

Don't forget...

…that he doesn’t really know where seniors go when they graduate…it kinda reminds me of that New Yorker magazine cover of the Obamas…it’s parody, but in poor taste…I’m not shocked, but it ain’t funny.

"averages 40 somethings per whatever"

i love the onion sports. my favorite all time article from there is about the “national huckley leagues storkley cup playoffs” and the “young dynamo sydnious crossleberry who scored 4 touchdowns in a single inning.”

for the next five days there is nothing in my heart but hate. pure, untempered, ice-cold hate. fond memories are for saturday. - Kleph

I was beginning to think I was gonna be the only one enjoying Onion Sports

on here. I guess this one wasn’t as great as it could have been, but I really enjoy “Patriots Lead Colts at Halftime,” “NFL Scientists Postulate Theoretical Down Before First Down,” “Pre-Game Coin Toss Makes Jacksonville Jaguars Realize Randomness Of Life”, and others
