University of Alabama Director of Athletics Mal Moore has persuaded his Southeastern Conference peers to ask the league office to make adjustments to the SEC's 2010 football schedule, as well as it's upcoming 10-year release of future schedules, to bring more equity to the number of games each team must play against an opponent coming off an idle week.

Of the eight SEC teams scheduled to play Alabama in 2010, the final six are set to have idle weeks before the game. That includes South Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee, LSU, Mississippi State and Auburn.

I will be interesting to see what if anything can and will be done. I’d say the only hope of really getting things changed is that Bama is now bringing in big money to the SEC. We are quickly surplanting UF as the premier team in the league. You want the games to be fair, but your premier team winning helps the entire conference. Your premier team getting beat because other teams have an unfair advantage is not good for business.
I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

I usually don't pay attention to stuff like this
but after this season, it was damn near impossible not to see the shit was wrong. After reading the article it seems like things will change…hopefully.
