A brawl would be the best thing that could happen

It would be bad for CFB, but it would be great to expose USC’s out of control behavior. They would be compared to Da U (which they already should be) and Pete Carroll would be regarded in the same light as Larry Coker and LeGarrette Blount.

Perhaps Pete Carroll

should think more closely about the safety of his players, lest something like this happen to Barkley.

"Their decision was to extend the game any way they could, which I think was exactly the right thing to do," Carroll said. "And when they did that, it changes our mentality. We have to get a first down. … There was no more consideration. That was it. The rest of it is really to be left up to however you guys want to take it. It’s a competitive moment. You get to do whatever you want to do."

I can’t argue with this thinking…he might be an ass…but he’s right.
