Any chance we can get this done, and have him start recruiting and coaching before Saturday's game?

hell yes!
the birds need DEFENSE MOTHERFUCKER!!!!!!!!!!!!! the big east is such an easy league to win, i really hope this works out. Strong should make a good fit in Louisville.
for the next five days there is nothing in my heart but hate. pure, untempered, ice-cold hate. fond memories are for saturday. - Kleph
Jurich told his counterpart at Florida, Jeremy Foley, that he will not interfere with the Gators’ preparations for the SEC championship game Saturday against Alabama. However, shortly after that game is over, Jurich is expected to contact Strong, and an interview could take place as early as Sunday.

I was about to post this...
But I, for one, am NOT above hoping this distracts the gators…at all. This + Dunlap hopefully equals heads not in the right places.

Agreed...
…it is probably incredibly unlikely, as everything I know about Charlie Strong and Urban Meyer leads me to believe that they are stuck in their office dissecting film and going over strategy. I am sure it is not even a thought that either one of them is having. Still, it would be nice to dream.
Hey- any distraction
for UF is good for us. I’m kinda hoping some of their player’s girl friends will give birth this week. Hey, don’t pretend it doesn’ t happen.
I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.
Charlie Strong...
…should have been offered a good HC job a long time ago…congrats to him…he should prolly go ahead and get to work up there this weekend….
