Listened to the broadcast tonight.
I think OTS would not be willing to put any money on Bama in this one. But I totally agree the way to stop UF is stop their run with our defensive linemen especially their little dive play. Moreover we need to pressure Tebow without the blitz. So basically it comes down to our line beating up their line. And hopefully we do that right from the get go. It seemed our line took a beating at the hands of Auburn in the 1st qt. We cannot fall behind more than 7 in this game and hope to win.
But, stopping UF, or minimizing them is only half the battle. We need to play better than what we have done to date on offense. A key is passing the ball 12-15 yards down field, and not just the little dink stuff.
I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.
Stopping the UF Spread
I think one of the only ways to stop the spread option run is to fill ALL the gaps from the second the ball is snapped. I think with the front 7 yall have that shouldnt be a problem. Most teams, like FSU, dont have the size to overcome the block and fill the gap. But Saban’s Defense is amazing to me, not only do yall have size but speed to. Once you shut the gaps Tebow will be forced to throw all game long…. and we know thats WAY outta his comfort zone

Just stopped in and wanted to let ya know i like the site alot!! Roll Tide!!! Hope ya’ll can take this one from UF. In my opinion this game will be better than the National Championship. It was last year, hell they should just make this the NC. Good Luck & HOPE ya’ll ROLL the gates
