BCS Ticket Safey Precautions
I am supposed to be buying some tickets from a TIDE PRIDE member tomorrow that I found on Craigslist. Is there any advice anyone has for safety precautions to ensure that I do not get ripped off? For example, how to verify tickets/Tide pride members authenticity?

Find a way to pay with a credit card.
Whether that’s paypal, google checkout, etc., your credit card company provides an added layer of security. If the tickets are fraudulent, you can dispute the charge. Paypal and Google also have some layers of security in them, but they’re very hit-and-miss (unreliable).

Look at the ticket closely.
The real ticket has a little holigram type sticker that says BCS on the top right and on the bottom right there is a see through “BCS2010.” I’d say these are going to be hard to counterfiet.
Also, if it is a Tide Pride Member ask him how many points he has…if he says less than 280 or so you know he doesn’t know what he is talking about.
Finally, check the ticket location. The Alabama section is tunnels 12-18.
If it passes all those test I’d say it is real.
I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.
He said that the tickets were in section 11? would that be possible?

Cool ...grabbed them and they ended up being great seats
section 11 goes from top to bottom (75-1) (A-Q) …. We ended up getting row L….so we are on the 6th row up from the field. Lets hope the tickets arent so close that we dont have a good view.
