New Desktop Backgrounds/Wallpapers

I have created some new desktop backgrounds if anyone is interested.  You can download them here for free:

Big Sammich Sports Desktop Backgrounds

I have two original ones up there right now.  The first one has a wild west theme with wanted posters for all of Alabama's opponents this season.  The games that have already been won are stamped "CAPTURED".  The only poster left is the one for Colt McCoy.  There is a picture of Rolando McClain with the caption "Tell McCoy I'm coming for him, and I'm bringing my posse with me!"

The second one has historical newspaper clippings of Alabama's first ever bowl game appearance in the 1926 Rose Bowl on the left side.  The headlines tell the story of that first national title.  At the bottom of the left side is the sheet music for Yea Alabama, which was written in response to that first bowl victory.  The lone color image on the left side is a group of tickets to the BCS National Championship Game in January at that same Rose Bowl site.

The right side has several pictures commemorating Mark Ingram winning Alabama's first ever Heisman Trophy.  The caption on this one reads "As an old tradition continues... a new tradition begins."

Here are some low res previews of the ones I have up there so far:

These are available in 18 different screen resolutions.  If your resolution is not listed, post a comment on the blog over there and I will be happy to create it for you.

Thanks.

Love the McCoy poster one

But McClain’s name is Rolando. I would like to get it, but can you fix that first?

When is the new desktop going to get posted? Like the ones that have been put up all season after each victory. I love those. These are very good too by the way.

Those are not mine, these are the first two that I have done. I think you may be referring to the ones by Crimson Tider. I think I saw a fan shot from him a couple of hours ago where he posted some new ones. Check the Fan Posts section.

"I'll never forget going to the Rose Bowl. I remember everything about it. We were on the train and Coach Thomas was talking to three coaches and Red Heard, the athletic director at LSU. Coach Thomas said, 'Red, this is my best football player. This is the best player on my team.' Well, shoot, I could have gone right out the top. He was getting me ready. And I was, too. I would have gone out there and killed myself for Alabama that day." -Bear
