Ah...
… I think most CVS stores and Walgreens are open, so that would probably be your best bet. You’re probably going to have to wait until midnight or so until some stores re-open.
Exactly which Mario game did you get?

Yeah, its awesome
Penguin Mario? How can that NOT be better than racoon mario? Get your cables fast and get a friend to play with. You can then kiss the next five hours goodbye.

Great game...one of the beat Mario games.
My roommate got it when it came out; we spent a many of hours playing that game instead of studying those weeks before finals.

Can't find the NFL network on Charter
The in-laws and I were hoping to get the “thursday” night football game tonight, didn’t know if there was a pay-per-view option, but we can’t even find it on the guide.
Other than that, though, great food and great gifts for two days, and NOLA tomorrow
So get this
my wife and I bought a house a while back and have been ready to move for two weeks. We wanted to move before my surgery, for obvious reasons, but the loan officer took forever to get our damn loan funded. Her parents are going to be moving into our condo and paying us rent until we sell it. Everybody has been waiting on this loan to fund.
Anyway, the frigging loan didn’t fund until Tuesday so we didn’t get the damn key to the new house until Tuesday evening after my surgery (they cut out two golf ball sized tonsils/tissue from my throat and my throat is all black from the cauterization right now…a white membrane is growing over the black skin). I am good for nothing for the next 12-14 days and her parents just showed up last night with all their stuff to move in to our condo. I’m pretty much just sitting here in pretty intense, constant pain, completely unable to talk until the swelling in my tongue goes away, and they’re frantically trying to move all the crap out of our condo so they can move in. My wife is completely stressed. She hasn’t smiled in a while. Part of me feels like a deadbeat, since I would have had everything moved if the damn loan had funded on time a couple week’s ago, and part of me finds it comical.
Anyway, this is further proof that things never seem to work out easily. Take care everybody. Merry Christmas.
MATRIX: Bennett, I thought you were--
BENNETT: Dead? You thought wrong. Ever since you had me thrown out of the unit, I've been waiting to pay you back. Do you know what today is, Matrix? Payday.
That sucks man
Moving is always a pain, I can’t imagine it right after having surgery. Hope you feel better man, and at least you can look forward to a new house.

In a related note, I think this might be the first Christmas since I was 5 that I didn’t get some kind of video game.

Merry Christmas!
My fiancee got me this little RC helicopter. Its red, so I’ve already claimed that it is Nick’s helicopter – you know, the one he uses to visit recruits. Its more fun than maybe any other toy I’ve ever received!
Nice haul
Two Bama snuggies for the girls. A Bama hat with the BCS National Championship logo on the side. AND a Bama toothbrush that I will only use on game days when I put on my Crimson Tide shirt and my football socks. Roll Tide.
My mom...
…gave me the DVD of us beating Florida in the SECCG. Right after I opened it the whole family screamed, “Let’s watch it now!”, so it was fun getting to watch it again with my whole extended family.
Other cool stuff I got included a ticket to see Henry Rollins do one of his spoken word things, the movie The Hangover and the new Tom Waits live album (I was at two of the shows there are songs from on the disc.)
I got a lot of other awesome stuff too, but doubt y’all really care about shelving, gift certificates, etc.
I became a grandpa today for the first time.... beat that LOL

Well, I got something pretty awesome myself...
I am the proud owner of 2 National Championship tickets on the 50 yard line in the 38th row! I am pretty stoked! One of my girlfriends at work gave me an Alabama Christmas ornament, an Alabama calendar and an Alabama watch. And my Mom sent me every magazine about the SEC Championship from back home and a pack that had the SI issue, an SECCG program and a DVD of the game in it. I now have enough reading material to get through til the game!

My daughter got to go back
in the critical care unit to see my dad, who has been in the hospital since Dec. 2. Riley, my husband and I took a little tree and Dad & Mom’s presents. Riley got a Buzz Lightyear that talks back to her. We got some cool stuff, too. And my mom said our visit cheered Dad up a lot.
The best present? That my dad is here to celebrate.

A new Bama fitted hat, a pair of Bama basketball shorts, PF Flyers, two pairs of jeans, and baby wipes.
Spent Christmas Eve
(all Christmas eve until 3am) in the emergency room and Christmas day at the eye doctor. Flashing light in my right eye proved not to be a detaced retna or a retna tear. Best news was on Christmas night when the doc told me I could still go to Pasadena and to go home and watch football on TV.
Light still flashing but should improve in time.
I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.
