When I was a little kid, my uncle would occasionally stay with us and bring his electric guitar and amp. He would play that song and just kill the solo (and extend it way out) and I thought it was the most thing awesome ever that I had an uncle that could shred on “Rock You Like a Hurrican.”

In other Scorpions related stuff:

• I didn’t realize they were German until the song “Wind of Change” came out
• Speaking of that song, I thought it was kind of lame when it came out, but it was playing in CVS the other day and I kind of liked it. Weird.

But then again, so was Loverboy. You know what you should do Nico? You should have an “off-season” musical listing/fanpost for “When I was at/in, _ _ _ _ _ ?, I heard. . .” (basically- wherever? like CVS, Lowes, Starfucks, etc. -when you heard a particular song or joke or tidbit)

Like last weekend, I was trying to leave a hotel room to go to another hotel room at a different hotel when I heard the tv-news people talk about Tiger Woods’ car crash. I’d remark about hearing the news when the woman I was hangin’ out with told me that Francis Crick was high on LSD when he discovered the double-helix of DNA structure. I know this guys life inside and out, but- never have I ever heard or read that he was dropping at the time during which he played a major part in bio-chem work involving proteins and polynucleotides. I even bet this chick $100 bucks.

Get this: she texted me later the next day to tell me, “You owe me!”? Right? Chances are, if I’m leaving a person I barely just met less than 7 hours ago, before daybreak- to go to see another woman at another hotel. . . . .I’m prolly not gonna lose any sleep out of this particular wager. She’s obviously not sorted out in this. I desperately wanted to bail, I pretty much went along with the wager JUST so I could extricate myself from her room. Here’s the weird part- she’s coming down to LA next weekend for some work-related stuff. I’m supposed to clear out some time in order to meet up with her? She’s pretty damn fine too! But she’s dead wrong, so- how do I regulate this situation?

Yeah dude, “When I was at The De Anza Hotel” would be my subject title IF. . . ? Well, . . . .yes? No? Maybe so?
