Adrian Hubbard (Ga) DE says he's Tuscaloosa bound
Adrian Hubbard, a defensive end from Norcross, Ga., announced today that he is committing to Alabama, according to BamaOnLine.com.
The 6-foot-7, 225-pound prospect is likely to play the "Jack" outside linebacker position for the Crimson Tide. This position was filled by Dante Hightower earlier this year until his season ending injury. Now the position belongs to Eric Anders. Hubbard is the second DE/Jack LB commit for 2010. N.C. DE prospect Alfy Hill gave his verbal earlier this year.
Hubbard, rated a four-star prospect by Rivals.com, reportedly chose Alabama over Florida State and South Carolina. Hubbard is ranked #79 in ESPN's Top 100 and is the Nations #8 DE prospect and also an Under armor All-American. Not bad for a kid who recently switched from basketball to football in his Senior year. At 6'7'' he will be a pass break up specialist. What's really amazing is he runs a 4.44 - 40 yd. He will give OC's fits with this speed in backside pursuits.
Welcome aboard Adrian Roll Tide.

Hey! Bama beat Florida on Sat. Did anyone post that one?
My comments are of my own and do not represent any other bama fans or blog or website or blackberry whatever else can be connected to the stupid internet.
So if you don't like what I say grow a set or ban me and ANYONE else can ban me to if they want. I don't care about your nancy feelings anymore than you care about mine.
Deal with it. (I have for the past decade)
That highlight reel is sic. Dude has some serious speed for a D End.

This guy is pretty green, but he's supposed to have a ton of upside/potential.
What you're seeing is team spirit. It's like the Holy Spirit, but more powerful.

Ya he'll redshirt, bulk up a bit and learn the role.

If he can catch a ball
we should move him to WR. He is quick but undersized. I guess him and AJ can hit the weights together ; )
See above from Mulletover and NLS
He is quick but undersized

Hubbard = Big Upside
The guy is a basketball player just now learning FB and brings those skills to DE. We can coach him up to be an All American. You can not coach height and wing span. He will be a pass blocking, FG blocking night mare.
I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.
