If it's the same quality as the stream, bleh.
But if it’s good quality then I might have to buy a couple and burn them to DVD (for personal use of course).

Quality?
What kind of file is it? How is it compressed? What’s the resolution? Geez, SEC.
I’ll blow $3.99 on one when I get home to find out……
Don't waste your money on rolltide.com's dvds...
I bought their 2008 The Turnaround and the picture quality was pretty bad.
Got that winning feelin'
Why do you think...
…it’s not $3.97?

If you use the code
09CHAMP at checkout you get the SECCG for 2.99 instead of 3.99. Downloading now…

That is all.
720p HD
is one option on tenyardtorrents or you can get a 2.5 GB file in avi format. Either way, I guarantee the quality is better than anything the SEC will offer up for download.
"There would be no fourth-quarter rally this time, either. No muscle flexes, sideline dashes or screaming fits could save the Gators' 22-game winning streak. The second-ranked Crimson Tide turned their long-anticipated SEC Championship Game rematch with No. 1 Florida into a three-and-a-half hour bludgeoning, punching their ticket to the BCS National Championship Game" -- Stewart Mandel--Sports Illustrated

How does this work?
I’ve downloaded a torrent client, but every time I attempt to download one of the games it tells me:
“Aborting the torrent as it was rejected by the tracker while not connected to any peers. Message from the tracker: Invalid passkey! Re-download the .torrent from ”http://leech.tenyardtorrents.com" target="_blank">http://leech.tenyardtorrents.com, (at Tue Dec 8 ’09 @ 08:48:23 PM)"
I’ve never used torrents before, and I feel pretty stupid.

Sounds good
What they stream is widescreen and looks decent. A 10 gig uncompressed file is probably too much to be asking for, and at $2.99/$3.99, there’s not much reason to bitch.
Sounds like they're higher quality than what you can watch in your browser
Those download at about 700-800 MB
Please let us know what the resolution and quality is
Personally, this kind of pisses me off. They’re certainly within their rights to do it, but all they’re really doing is giving me another excuse to by a TV tuner for my computer so I can burn my own friggin DVDs..
bah
I just went through a lot of headache ’cause I was trying to log into secstore.com to re-download my video (first one failed) which apparently has no relationship to secdownloads.com.

Some more info on the downloads
from Randy at SEC Digital Network Support: “All download files are standard definition in .mp4 format (H.264 video and AAC audio). Without a specific set of codec’s installed, Windows Media Player will NOT play these files back. Please use the free Quick
Time Player to play these files.”
Thanks
I’ll probably pass then, Widescreen is a must have for me. If it were a high quality file, I’d be willing to part with $5 to $10 for it.
