Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Yeah, yeah...I know there are some that think he will stay and some thing he is gone, but the most interesting piece was the last bit.
Along with McClain, UA cornerback Kareem Jackson is considered an early entry possibility from the Crimson Tide.

Jackson, really? Seems to me that he is usually one that gets burned.

McClain keeps giving me reasons to up my man-crush on him

“Naturally, you’ll think about the NFL. But it’s not even my focus right now. I really couldn’t care less about the NFL at this point,” McClain said. “I still have another game to play, and that’s my focus.”

Me too

No homo.

"So I want everybody to think here for a second, how much does this game mean to you? 'Cause if it means something to you, you can't stand still. You understand? You play fast! You play strong! You go out there and dominate the man you're playing against, and you make his ass quit! That's our trademark! That's our M.O.... as a team! That's what people know us as!" - Coach Nick Saban before the 2008 LSU game.

The picture of him with Butkus...

In the baby blue sweater vest? It was like looking at a walking contradiction! I never would have guess he even OWNED a sweater vest, let alone in that shade.

I do like

Ro’s focus! He is such a leader for the team and if he is that focused, then everyone around him will have no choice but to be as focused as he is. He won’t allow anything less.

McClain doesn't need

to file to see where his draft status would be because he would be in the top 10 picks.

As far as Jackson, I would not be surprised to see him go.

I just hope none of our guys talk to any agent until Jan. 8.

I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

No worries about the agents this year, I don't think.

It’s kinda like avoiding a restaurant two weeks after it was shut down for a day for salmonella (sp?) poisoning – why? It’s the cleanest place in town at that point! This should not be the year to worry about agent problems. A) You know Saban and crew are taking extra precautions after what happened last year, and B) The eligible guys this year were all personally hurt badly by Smith’s mistakes. It was a major reason (though certainly not the only one) behind the Utah loss, and they saw what that among other things did to his initial paycheck. I’ll be more worried about this next year and in years to come. Not saying it won’t happen, but I just don’t think it’s as tempting now as it will be in the future.

i highly doubt Jackson will go

if he does, he’s a 4th rounder at best. Saban will tell him to stay under the premise that he cant up him to a 2nd rounder by next year
