Friends,

Just wanted to let you all share in my joy in adding another Bama fan to the world. My little girl joined us on February 2 weighing in at 8.5 pounds and 20.5 inches. We just brought her home over the weekend, and I've been running myself ragged, as you might imagine.  Anyway, you'll all be glad to know that she has been receiving the proper instruction on what school she should plan to attend from the very beginning -- as you can see from my new profile picture. It is a shot of her in the hospital bassinet being wheeled around the maternity ward wearing the Crimson Tide baby hat (sorry, I don't know the technical term). There was an Auburn fan with a new baby on the same floor, and I was sure to take her out while he was in the fall:

ME: "Good morning"

HIM: "Good morning, and congratulations"

ME: "36 to nothing."

HIM: "Sorry, ... what?"

ME: "I said, 'congratulations.'"

HIM: "Oh"
