That sounds about right...
Fortunately only a couple of guys will be held out of contact, as we expected. Upchurch has a serious injury, and unfortunately he is probably a medical scholarship candidate. Alexander suffered a pretty serious structural injury to his shoulder, if I recall correctly, and that’s going to take some time.
As for the other guys, they should be generally good to go, but some of them may be somewhat limited. We were extremely lucky in terms of avoiding serious injuries in 2008, but by the end of the year we were absolutely a beaten up squad, and it’s going to take a little while to get healthy.

I hope Tyler Love
can come in and contribute.
I know someone posted that he was a five star bust (because I’ll never forget NLS’s response “He’s a five star bust you in yo face!”) but it would help us tremendously if he can live up to expectations. Let’s hope he improves.
MATRIX: Bennett, I thought you were--
BENNETT: Dead? You thought wrong. Ever since you had me thrown out of the unit, I've been waiting to pay you back. Do you know what today is, Matrix? Payday.
I heard the same thing
But how can you tell as a freshman if someone is going to be a bust? Not everyone is a JJ.
When you are an Alabama fan you are expected to hate Auburn, I hate Tennessee because I want to.
Saying someone is a five star bust because they didn't play on an O-line...
….stocked with senior and junior talent/leadership as a true freshman is like saying “look at me, I’m a complete idiot and/or asshole, please punch me repeatedly in the face.”
