But, has anyone really taken a look at the site stats for RBR lately? Jeez, off the charts:

2,000,000 + site visits
Almost 4 million page visits
3000 + visitors a day
6000 + page visits a day
about 200 visitors an hour
Has an estimated value of $482,271

Don't know why I wanted to share that, other than just to thank Nico, Todd, OTS (and now Kleph and Pete) for their hard work, as well as the contributions of others.

Deadspin: $4.9 million (Speaking of Deadspin. Does anyone actually read it? I know it’s popular, but I’ve yet to meet anyone who actually frequents it?)

just seems like a hit-job site where “journalists” who aren’t really, write “articles” that don’t have to follow the traditional “standards” of “eithics” because when they’re called out on inaccuracies, they just claim its ok, they don’t have to follow any rules because they’re “entertainment,” not serious journalists.

NOt sure if you can even answer this question but i have been wondering...

How does it work..having a blog on SB? Im going to guess that you guys don’t get paid 482k to run RBR :) I see a lot of advertising and im sure that goes straight to SB…..I know you can advertise on your blog over at wordpress and get paid. IDK….

All i know is that this is the best sports blog i have ever been apart of…alabama or not. The community feel here is like none other i have seen. I guess thats why i comment so much ;) Great job guys!

Blogspot does too.

My old blog had targeted advertising, and it worked out pretty nicely. I’m sure here a great deal of the ad revenue goes to SBN for server space etc…and we chew up a HELLUVA’ lot of server space.

The stats were taken from RBR’s sitemeter. I use StatCounter…it’s pretty cheap (or free, depending on the package) and has kickass Google Maps (but, I’m pretty sure most do these days).
