Around SBN: Nevin Shapiro Vows To Bring Down Miami

The Joke is on the Hatter

Looks like Les may be in for a surprise, Did he sign Reuben Randle or Waldo Faldo?

Reuben Randle:

Waldo Faldo:

As you may remember, or be too young to remember, Waldo Faldo was a supporting character on Family Matters who always said "cool" and whenever anyone said his name, he would say "'sup?" Now RR, may in fact be the offspring of Waldo Faldo because he is missing the stylish haircut and has not mastered the sweet stache--but he looks well on his way about stache. Besides, I always imagined Waldo to smell like corndog.

Let's not do this

Hopefully Rueben made the right choice for himself. We have Dre, so it’s not like he’s gonna do anything against us, anyways!

Roll Tide!

Come on Trent….

Dude....

We would have loved to have had his kid on our team. No need to slam him now.

for his athletic ability--yes

for calling the shots about who else can play on the team—no thanks!!

body double

you have to admit, he does look like that guy, a lot.

I'm in no condition to drive...wait! I shouldn't listen to myself, I'm drunk.

Actually

I hope with RR LSU is going to be good enough to beat UF. I’m not worried about us beating them. We will have a team that can pound the ball. But I’ll be glad for all SEC schools to get better and better and beat Urban Meyer until he leaves the SEC.

Can you imagine what it will be like next season with JJ, KK, MM on the fly for passes and TR, RU, MI running the ball behind our hugh line? How scary will it be to be in the SEC West? Or East? or NC game? Whoa Nellie …….

When your a front runner, you don't have to look at no ugly behinds.

I'm just saying

Great recruiting class, but I wouldn’t go print up the championship jerseys just yet….

There will be

plenty of time for that after we take down the Gators in SECCG. By the way gator- did you notice you guys lost the state of Florida to both Miami and FSU?

by 5026 on Feb 4, 2009 11:48 PM CST up reply actions

Maybe that's because

half of our class is from out of state? We are no longer bound by the borders of our home state to obtain top recruits. We can go up to Virginia and get a Percy Harvin, or up to Maryland to sign a Jelani Jenkins. So forgive me for not being alarmed that Miami & FSU (both of whom we beat convincingly on the field) may have obtained more home state recruits than we did. I’m satisfied that we signed two 5-star guys from Florida, including our #1 target.

You also might want to take the average star rating of all recruits signed by each team – nobody (including Bama, LSU and USC) had higher quality rated recruits than the Gators….we simply didn’t have as many scholarships to offer this year. Also, over a third of our signees are already enrolled at UF and will take part in spring practice, while your guys are out doing keg stands on their senior booze cruise (not that there’s anything wrong with that!). That lessens the chance of academic casualties within our class.

When is it again that you are planning to take us down in the SECCG?

touche

Florida is going to be scary next year, and for years to come. I’m all in favor of a return to the SEC of the early 90’s. It’s going to be a wild ride.

P.S. I hope Florida and Alabama both beat the shit out of Lame Kitten for years to come until he crawls back to USC.

Take Down

skigator,
That would be the next time it is played.RTR

We plan on being there

Hopefully you will too.
This is going to be a special year for Gator football. After this year, we’ll lose a ton of players and will have some serious rebuilding to do.
