2010 Class Begins... Keiwone Malone Commits
With Coach Saban, the recruiting work never ends, and we have further evidence of that today. Barely 36 hours after landing another #1 recruiting class, our beloved Nicktator is back at it again, picking up a commitment from wide receiver prospect Keiwone Malone.
Malone is a 6'1 and 165 pound receiver out of Memphis, Tennessee. As a star at Mitchell Road High School, Malone has made a name for himself the past two seasons by leading almost every single receiving category in the state of Tennessee. The past two years he has racked up over 130 receptions for over 2,600 yards and 30 touchdowns.
He's a bit on the small side, but he does have truly elite speed, and he looks to be on the mostly heavily sought-after recruits of the 2010 class. Even though we are still a year away from NSD 2010, Malone has already picked up offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, Oregon, Duke, and North Carolina, and several other programs such as Georgia are giving him hard looks as well. Scout.com already has him rated as a four-star prospect, and he probably even has a legitimate shot at a fifth star.
Bottom line, it's going to be another great recruiting class in 2010, and it's off to another great start. And oh yes, so much for that whole Lance Thompson bit about locking down Tennessee.. that one lasted about as long as his pledge to not recruit Alabama prospects to Tennessee. And finally, though we signed a very good receiver class this season, look for us to do the same thing next year as well. With Keiwone Malone already on board, and prospects like Markeith Ambles, Jeremy Richardson, Solomon Patton, and Keenan Allen firmly in place, it will be another great receiver class in 2010 as well.

Especially...
… after Marlon Brown signed with UGA.
Something tells me they might out to actually land a quality prospect out of Memphis before they start talking about dominating it, but hey if he wants to make an idiot of himself with his mouth, I’m not going to stop him. I just hope he’s that brash and absurd in his divorce proceedings.

LOL, though supposedly she has stopped the divorce proceedings.
Posted this is Fan shots but,
Lance Thompson’s statements is the reason why CNS does not allow assitants to speak to the media.
Auburn fans are like slinkys... not really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
I guess Saban....
….managed to take ownership of that “fence around Memphis” that Orgeron shot his mouth off over a few years ago at Ole Miss.
Ever watched the
Great Escape. That is what is going through the recruits minds. “Get me the hell out here”

When I lived in Memphis...
…most of the people I knew didn’t care for UT. The new kids don’t seem to be changing that.

And, Kiffin’s hyperbole yesterday about “they’re not taking another one of our kids” is screwed too huh? Nostradamus he ain’t.

Is there any doubt
that Saban did this in direct response to the what the 3 stooges were saying yesterday? I love it!
This is just toooo funny!! Just happens to be from Memphis.
We love you, Nick! I am LMAO.
Even the least of the brainiacs who signed with UT yesterday has to be noticing what a fool he has for a HC. Talk about Buyers’ Remorse.

Lol...
When someone asked Malone earlier today if he was aware of Lance Thompson’s vow that Tennessee would own Memphis in 2010, he replied:
“I know… But all I can say is that I’m committed to Alabama.”

Thompson commented today...
…“After Malone leaves for Bama, then we’re really, really gonna own Memphis.”

let 'em
as T. Kyle pointed out earlier today; " It’s amazing everyone in the [Tennessee] doesn’t fall off cliffs in the middle of the night on Rocky Top, because there are so few stars there.
