Most Popular Colleges: National Universities
I know I love the University of Alabama as much as the next Bama fan, but I was thinking we would have had a higher rating than this articles shows. I also know I have never attended our fine school, but have always heard good things about the education that is provided there...just something I wanted to share with you all. RTR!

I think this poll favors Bama pretty well. What it means is that Alabama is the first pick for at least half of the kids who apply. Interestingly Auburn, which is supposed to be such a “family” is only 34%. And, even some really great academic schools like Duke & Vandy are much lower. If you look at it we are right in there with UGA and UGA is actually a very good school.
The only school higher than Bama I wonder about is LSU. I’m guessing if you speak cajun you just wouldn’t feel comfortable going out side of Baton Rogue.

most Cajuns know how to get out of Baton Rouge…because they are afraid there may not be corn dogs outside the city limits!

than Tulane and UNO, LSU doesn’t exactly have that much competition. And I only mention those two because of location in a fairly large metro area.
