I was in Nashvegas...

…about 14 hours…and six or seven of them were spent sleeping.

I arrived around 5:30-6:00pm on Monday.
Went to a 7:00 pm show with my friend.
Show was over at 9:00pm.
We went and had dinner and drinks afterward.
Went back to the house around 11 as she had to work the next morning.
Stayed up talking for about an hour.
She went to bed, I stayed up and read about an hour.
I was on the road by 8:00 Tuesday morning.

Plus, I thought you lived closer to Knoxville than Nashville. I guess I was totally wrong about that bit though.

Sorry man, I didn’t realize you were in the vicinity (and it was a whirlwind trip.)

Friday afternoon 10....

01. Explosions in the Sky – “Catastrophe and the Cure”
02. Yeah Yeah Yeahs – “Date With the Night”
03. Congo Norvell – “November (The Ballad of Mark and Travis)”
04. Jay Reatard – “Blood Visions”
05. Faith No More – “Falling to Pieces”
06. Phish – “A Day in the Life”

08. The King Khan & BBQ Show – “Dock It #8”
09. Faith No More – “Naked In Front of the Computer”
10. Sound Tribe Sector 9 – “Blu Mood”

Bix is probably the only one that’ll care, but that Erkin Toray guy is this awesome Turkish psychedelic guitar player from the 60s (he’s still active, but the 60s/70s were his heyday.) Anyway, he’s considered the father of “Anatolian Rock,” and there’s some good Turkish rock bands out there.
