but UT has had a way of somehow avoiding the NCAA. I wish they would get nailed if they are cheating, but folks this is the NCAA so I suspect nothing will happen to Kiffin. After all he is a USC golden boy with a hot wife. No way the NCAA goes after Kiffin and his wife.

Still we will take care of him on the field with or without Brown.

i think we sound whiney. They got the guy, whether he is going to be a big distraction or a super star affects us, only if we dont play the caliber of football to beat tennessee when we play them. Dont get me wrong i hate tennessee, alot. But i think we should stop talkin about them getting Brown. Big deal, i mean we got Trent, and i think from watching highlights of both, i’d rather trent (maybe thats just cuz i saw him put on the houndstooth cap). So lets stick to criticizing Kiffin (cuz thats fun), and who cares about what players they got, or how they got them.

Kiffin has turned the vol fans into the most annoying fans in the nation. I live in Knoxville and it makes me sick to hear anything about football come out of their mouth. They honestly think they have already won three national championships in one off season. I cannot stand orange or that kid smirk on Kiffins face..I will be more fired up in Tuscaloosa this year on October 24th than ever before. I cannot wait..ROLL TIDE

 . . . die by the Diva, they end up wishing they’d spent that scholarship on a trustworthy guy who contributes meaningfully in any capacity about 1-2 years later.

Diva ball players who think they know it all have a way of either 1) proving to be a distraction and screwing their team or 2) becoming new men and sloughing off that old life. College ball is a great proving ground for young men.

Let’s hope for the kid’s sake it’s the latter. I’ve seen a few hundred of these kids at FSU, many become better citizens, many leave after two years wasting far too many resources in the process. This kid screams trouble just now.

Time will tell on Kiffin and Brown both, ‘Bama needs to concentrate on what it can change: retool that O-Line, speed up those corners, make those Running backs hit the interior holes consistently, get an extra wideout so it isn’t the Julio only show. I can’t wait ot see your first game, I’m buying a hat for it.

A mediocre Quarterback can win if those things are clicking, get the lines working, much else will fall into place.

If Tennessee or anyone else <Miami, FSU cough cough>, shows up and says “Talent, we haz it”, they’ll lose to the disciplined team that doesn’t get outside its identity. Look at what Boise does with major college rejects. They stay inside their system, never say “OK kid, go be the man.”
