Alabama Gymnastics Take 2nd at NCAA Championships
Alabama's women's gymnastics team took second place at the NCAA Gymnastics Super Six in Lincoln, Nebraska. The team recorded a stellar 197.575 score, that smashed it's previous season high.
Sadly, Georgia's top ranked Gym Dogs bested that tally with a score of 197.825 and took home their fifth consecutive NCAA championship. The Georgia team's only loss this year came to the Crimson Tide at the SEC Championships.
"This is the best meet we've had all season," said Alabama coach Sarah Patterson said. "I told the ladies, 'Go out there and have your best performance. If there's a better team on this given night, make them beat you.' And I think that's exactly what we did."

UGA clearly is the best gym team
but we are right there with them. Winning the SEC was huge for us. We made great improvement during the year. Everyone worked hard and did their best at the championship level. You could not ask for more.
I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.
Way to go!!
Congrats Coach Patterson and the A-Gym victors!
Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world.
