Michigan State On 2016-17 Schedule
Michigan State Athletics Director Mark Hollis announced on Monday (April 27) that the Spartans have signed contracts for home-and-home football series with West Virginia (2014-15) and Alabama (2016-17).

been thinking that for years. Why don’t we? Playing the Big10 isn’t going to help their strength of schedule, they might as well play somebody besides USC.

I see this
as at least a quality opponent down the line. Name means everything for BCS. Playing Michigan St. may not be a “high profile” matchup, but being a Big Ten opponent with some success means something. In the wake of Auburn’s UCLA mishaps, I applaud the athletic office for this move as well as the wherewithal to schedule other games of this nature (Penn St, GA Tech)
