"I think from an image standpoint," Saban said, "and the fact that this year's game's on ESPN, it would have a tremendous national exposure image-building probability for all of us if we had a great showing at the spring game again. I know we have set the standard for what spring games are, and people send us information all the time with all this promotional stuff they're doing to try to beat us on spring game attendance. It's amazing. Like it's an arms race."

This game, more than any other,

gives the fans a chance to influence the make up of the team. No doubt 92k+ 2 years ago helped us land a #1 class in 08. If we can fill the place while on ESPN it will send a nationwide message that Alabama has the unreal fans. This will help in recruiting.

Bottom line- BE THERE

I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.

What kind of feeling is everybody getting from the fans they know?

Saban’s first year, it seemed like every Bama fan I knew was going. This year, I’m getting a lot of people who don’t seem sure yet. I’m getting a little worried that this year’s attendance may be a little down, at least if Saban doesn’t find a way to fire the fan base up between now and then (something similar to the coach’s show before the MSU game last year would do).

Do you need me to come to GA

and pick you up? Can we pool our money and rent a RBR van to go around and pick people up, kinda like the church buses do?
