The NCAA has combined its investigations of two former USC star athletes into a single probe of the Trojans' athletic program, the Los Angeles Times reported.
In separate investigations, the NCAA has been looking into allegations that Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush and NBA lottery pick O.J. Mayo both received improper benefits while at USC.

Prediction:
NCAA will “find nothing” out of the ordinary as Trojans declare all benefits to USC players are proper because “This is Hollywood baby!”
I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.
i was just about to post this...
To me this is good news. USC is in big shit and will likely face probation…to me..its a long time coming..
‘When you build a house and you make it hurricane-proof by putting certain kinds of windows in it, and use cement instead of stick construction and all that kind of stuff, you’re getting prepared for what? A hurricane that may or may never every come." ’We’re going to have 12 hurricanes next year, we know they’re coming.’
- Coach Nick Saban
Not
to mention the steriod rumors that are going around about Brian Cushing and Clay Mathews.
Is it August yet?
Sorry but.......
I’m not holding my breath. The Bush thing has been going on so long, I think they hope it just fades away.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.
USC
is the NCAA’s golden child, Nothing will come of this, They will not find anything unusual about it, I they start to find things they don’t want to see, They will just say there’s not enough evidence to move forward, Now if it was us, Oh man they would throw us to the dogs in a heartbeat.
Totally agree.
Just await and see USC will dodge this. No way the NCAA comes down on Hollywood.
In the end USC might lose a few visits nothing more. But no way they hit them with lack of control. And, the truth is USC was in control all the time. The Bush thing was planned all along. USC was definitely in control of the sweet deal Bush had.
And don’t forget Kiffin is a former USC coach with a hot wife to boot. No way any NCAA harm ever comes to UT while he is there no matter what he pulls. And, he will pull plenty.
I hate the NCAA more than UT & AU combined. At least with UT & AU you got a fighting chance.
I disagee about Kiffin..
There’s no Roy Kramer to protect them anymore, he’s already turned ncaa/sec office heads, and I’m sure Urb, Saban, and Spurrier wouldn’t think twice about reporting ut.
I
don’t think the “secret witness” fiasco had anything to do with Kramer, did it? I think the NCAA gave UT the pass all by themselves.
Is it August yet?
In the west . . .
They say the same about the SEC and Big 12, particularly Oklahoma and Auburn.
Big programs in general tend to get a few breaks, too much political heat.
Why
would anybody give Auburn a break? I mean, what have they done for anybody ever?
Is it August yet?
I
say that Kiffin will get away w/ it faster than Saban would, If anything ever happens like that to Saban, Well we might be in trouble, Because we are Alabama and the NCAA is going to try and hold us down at all costs, Even if that means letting other teams break the rules.
