He was on sports radio, in Jax, Fl, yesterday...
I almost called in to ask if he still had nightmares about John Copeland and Eric Curry, among others.

I just noticed that
a penalty would have been called on that play…being that i was only like 9 when it happened…anyone remember if that play would have been upheld if he had gotten the TD?
‘When you build a house and you make it hurricane-proof by putting certain kinds of windows in it, and use cement instead of stick construction and all that kind of stuff, you’re getting prepared for what? A hurricane that may or may never every come." ’We’re going to have 12 hurricanes next year, we know they’re coming.’

i believe it was an offsides against alabama so miami could have declined if thomas had scored. obviously the play was critical because it destroyed the hurricane’s momentum and led to their third quarter meltdown. but let’s not forget, teague got his six with a fantastic pick against the heisman winner in that game as well. no matter how you slice it, the fact remains: teague > torretta.
That was...
…my one disappointment upon reading of Woodrow Lowe’s induction. The first thing I thought when I read Toretta’s name was, “Geez, they’ll let anybody in to this thing.”
