Legislating A CFB Playoff?
It seems to me that some govt. officials are going too far on this one! I'm all for a playoff, but as much as I'm for that, I'm devoutly against the government mandating how sports should be managed. Is there nothing they won't stick their fingers in anymore?

I'm all for
Ron Paul passing his legislation that regulates the Fed and for Montana passing their legislation that de-regulates guns manufactured and kept in Montana(more about state’s rights than guns)
I’d be pleased if the Government was shrunk to the point of maintaining the military and dealing with foreign politics and nothing else. I could see a few other programs being kept(EPA, FDA, etc.). The states could just as easily deal with anything the government does in their own borders.
Unfortunately
in the past politicians who’ve tried to either eliminate or privatize large programs hasn’t worked out so well. W. failed in getting enough people behind privitazing Social Security and Goldwater ran on privitazing the Tennessee Valley Authority during his presidential run. There is a bill out there that seeks to audit the Federal Reserve (HR1207) introduced by Paul. I like Ron a lot but he is just one man. We need about 847 more just like him if anything is going to change. But aaaaaaannnnyyyyywwaaaaaaaayys. Yeah idiot politicians stay out of my college football.

I'm not too worried about them actually passing anything about it.
I just can’t stand the thought that elected officials actually waste their time writing/debating these bills!
