AP, Florida media suing FSU
From Progressive Pensacola:
This morning, the Associated Press, along with more than a dozen Florida newspapers and television stations (including the Pensacola News Journal) filed suit against Florida State University and the National Collegiate Athletics association, alleging that the university and the NCAA conspired to conceal documents that are public record under Florida’s Sunshine laws.
The suit seeks the immediate release of documents related to FSU’s ongoing academic fraud case.
FSU’s president, T. K. Wetherell, announced today that he would retire. It’s probably completely unrelated.
