Seems like Auburn's Athletic Department finally figured out this Twitter thing and the "Ghost Rider in the Sky" Gene Chizik background alone makes it worth it. But they don't stop there. It seems they chose the loss to LSU at Jordan-Hare Stadium last year for him to loom over. It's almost like they can see the future.
But wait! There's more! According to the Plainsman, a Twitter feed for Gene Gene himself is in the works.Which is a development we welcome heartily since it is guaranteed non-stop comedy for the rest of the off-season. Feel free to use the comments to suggest the most likely entries we'll see on the Chizitweet as well as your guess on the number of days until they incur their first secondary violation using it.

my issue here isn’t so much this specific item but the fact this nonsense seems to have become prevalent in the comments of most threads. it’s less being angry over a particular comment than fed up with what seems to have become common practice.
every time Auburn or anyone at TET does something, it isn’t necessarily an invitation for ridicule. there are plenty of things worthy of mocking in the realm of sports but i have a hard time seeing how someone making a concentrated good faith effort to become more tech savvy in this ever changing global world qualifies.
i’m not a fan of the current fashion on internet fan sites that nothing is sacred and everything must be copied and pasted for other’s amusement and ridicule. boasting about one’s propensity for issuing dick jokes through twitter and posting half-naked women using photoshop all over the site is the opposite of classy.
i have always appreciated RBR because it never stooped to such nonsense and since becoming a member of the site i’ve tried to uphold that standard. Today is indeed a dark day.
if bammers think our coaches are so ridiculous that they must make fun of them for any thing they do… well, they can, this is America, but twitter?

I get it that a good bit of the people here think you’re a cool guy for a barner and all, but why do you spend so much time here? it’s super helpful the way SB nation is designed without edit features for comments, this helps make threads more confusing and needlessly hard to read. thanks SB nation.so anyway, as you can see, these tags, they’re some sort of reference to computer code, which makes you look smart by using them. it’s a win win. though ultimatly a loss for sarcasm lovers everywhere. i’d like to think people can be counted on to pick up on sarcasm when appropriate, but alas, the Bell Curve, she is real, and Poe’s Law is too.

a few years back someone posted a shop’d pic of Tubbs holding up the four fingers after the 05 win, they added a “free football scholarships” sign into his hand and swapped out WalMart for BDS. i’ve had that printed and on my desk ever since. and i’t beena great converstation peice ever since. all these pac 10 fans are a little perplexed by it, but then son learn how awesome Bama is and what a jackass-fool tubbs was for doing that…. anyway, i guess my point is this off season stuff is part of being a Bama fun, trust me, ASU and U of A fans only pretend to care. this sort of thing is a gift, we should be thankfull that we care enough to mock cheeze it the way we do, and that barners care enough to come and try to defend it. washington and indiana fans dont get to “deal with this crap”.

Maybe I'm missing something,
but it seems that everyone else is missing what Gump did here. He responded to kleph’s statment – see in a mocking, almost verbatim way. I’m not one to typically defend a barner, but I thought things got way out of hand with the comments on the other post. I don’t treat my dog that way, and there is no reason to treat TET’s that way either : ) .
