Beautiful!
I first saw Brad Paisley when he was just an up-and-comer. He headlined Buck Owens’ famous “Crystal Palace” in Bakersfield, CA on my birthday a few years back. He didn’t have a band with him, it was just him all by his lonesome and boy- did he play an incredible 30-minute set. Buck came in and played with him for the last 20 – 30 minutes and that’s when he tore the place down. I had learned to line-dance about an hour before his show. And I forgot all the steps and routines to line-dancing and basically got so far “down”- I was doing the “robot” towards the end of their set. (that’s how boogie-down it got with those two badasses!!!)
The Crystal Palace is a place to eat, dance, and watch artists perform. Kids were all about, the walls are a virtual museum for it’s two very large and spacious floors that wraps around the main stage. It was truly one of the better birthdays I ever had.
Brad Paisley is one of the newer C&W singers I’m a total fan of. He’s smooth, has great stage presence, and man does he have a voice. He’s not bad on the gee-tar either!
Great choice Todd. The fiddle was top notch on this song. Just. Beautiful.
Comer4tide to Nico2.0: "How come I've never heard of any of your random songs?"
Todd to Comer: "Because if you had, he wouldn't listen to it. BOOM. Roasted."
Nico to Todd: "Shouldn't you be off voguing somewhere?"
