Tentative SEC Football TV Schedule Weeks 1-3
Just wanted to link to the expected SEC schedule for weeks 1-3. Bama will be playing on PPV at 6PM against Florida International, and at 11:21 against North Texas on the ERT/SEC Network, which I'm not sure but believe is the equivalent of the old Raycom game, but perhaps branded by the SEC/ESPN. Meaning, I think it will be on the same network that had the Raycom game was on last year (which in Nashville for me was UPN).
FanPosts are just that; posts created by the fans. They are in no way indicative of the opinions of SBN and the authors of Roll Bama Roll.

Thanks
Looks like it will be on the former UPN, MyTV30 in Nashville. I have an HD version of that, I wonder if the games will be filmed in HD?

I'm not sure.
They do the ESPN affiliate thing out here (Kansas) for Big 12 games quite often and those games (which are usually shown in the afternoon prior to the big Saturday night game) are typically not broadcast in HD.
On another note, has anyone had experience with ESPN GamePlan? Are their games typically broadcast in HD or SD?
on directv most are in SD
and to be honest i’m not sure if any other than ESPN/ ABC/CBS games would ever be offered by them in HD, at least last year. for example the FoxSportNet games are often available in HD locally, but not on channel the put it on with gameplan. but i got all the old jefferson pilot/lincoln financial games on it the last 2 years, so gameplan has worked out for me.
welcome to the SEC kiffykins...

Uggh
One drawback to this new network is that some of these crap games that would be PPV at NIGHT will now be televised and during the day. North Texas at 11:21 am? Uggh. That’ll be nice and pleasant weatherwise.
HD is a yes!
According to Fox 54 out of Huntsville, the games will be in HD. They started running promos this week.
