I'm more interested

in that book. The cover makes it look like a gripping read. Scandalous liaisons, passion, lust, and intrigue…fraught with conflict.

MATRIX: Bennett, I thought you were--

BENNETT: Dead? You thought wrong. Ever since you had me thrown out of the unit, I've been waiting to pay you back. Do you know what today is, Matrix? Payday.

Got To Give It Up

I think that’s a Marvin Gaye cover? Great tune regardless.

by 94Grad on Jul 24, 2009 10:29 AM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

yeah. it is. i meant to include Love Tractor’s version of The GAP Band’s “Party Train.” both covers are sensational though. they also did a wonderful version of Kraftwerk’s “Neon Lights”

by kleph on Jul 24, 2009 10:38 AM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Although Helen Reddy DID do a cover of the Delta Dawn song. . .

. . . .Tanya Tucker OWNS IT! In originality and chronology. Although Reddy’s version might have eclipsed it in sales. . . .Tanya will always sing the version best known to me. (and my sister !!! you got that Jules?)

Todd...

…that Adrienne Young cover of “Brokedown Palace” is phenomenal. It’s been one of my favorite covers for years.

by Nico2.0 on Jul 24, 2009 10:32 AM CDT reply actions   0 recs

I love it...

Actually, of all those covers that’s the only one that I don’t also have the original song on my iPod. Never really cared for the song until I heard her version.
