Bright Future For Bama

Its hard to believe that  just three years ago, the Alabama program was floundering under Mike Shula and the idea that Nick Saban would come to Tuscaloosa was laughable. Saban is doing what he loves to do, and that's build winners. Last years 12-0 regular season was better than anyone could have hoped and I think even Saban would say that he wasn't expecting it. Once again the Tide is poised to compete for a national championship...in 2010. They will likely have the kind of season this year that was expected last year. About 9 wins. The Crimson Tide are very very good, but Virginia Tech, Mississippi, and LSU are at least as good, if not better, and Florida will be waiting in the wings for  the SEC championship should the Tide roll that far. Not saying each of those will be a loss, but you also have to factor in the games against  opponents you're supposed to beat that get out of hand.(Sugar Bowl last year). So it looks like a 2 or 3 loss season. But not in 2010, with Sabans recruits coming of age and Tebow gone. Watch out SEC and watch out BCS The Tide will be rolling. Then when Saban leaves for a new challenge, it will be up to Alabama's shaky  leadership to keep the train going.

Acknowledging that the natural inclination on this site is to rehash games and seasons from Forty, Fifty and Sixty years ago,  how about some forward looking discussion?  Want to give it a try? For example, can Bama get past Virginia Tech in the first  game? What happens if they lose? Its a non conference game, and they could probably recover right?  May even help them focus  in the long run. Get the butterfly's out of the system early and not have to worry, like last year, when that inevitable first loss would come.

FanPosts are just that; posts created by the fans. They are in no way indicative of the opinions of SBN and the authors of Roll Bama Roll.

And you are the mother of all trolls, so I guess you can spot them easily.

You have commented on RBR less than 20 times and you have made over 70 at TET.

I wondered...

…who spawned all those troll babies.

And now we know.

Hey by the way I have been banned from TET And RTT.......so if anything I might overstep my boundaries as a fan when expressing my opinion...

However, I do not go over there pretend to be a tiger or a volunteer fan just to slip in underhanded comments about their team…

Jealousy is the thread that holds TET threads together!

You too?

We ought to start a fraternity. I don’t really give a crap that I was banned from there. It was just funny how it happened. The entire home page was about Bama football. I couldn’t gather myself. I was respectful. All I did was invite Coulter over here if all he wanted to talk about was Bama football because that is all we talk about over here.

That is the first place I have ever been banned from that didn’t involve strippers.

Hell, I should not have been over there in the first place. My bad… I’ll do five Roll Tides and a “Hail Bear”

I have to either stop drinking.... or drink more

Its

not Jay’s Bama obsession that’s his problem. Its his blind homerism and lack of talent.

Whenever I'm...

And then he makes a fart sound.

Want to give being open and direct a try? I know disingenuous and fake are easier, but why dont you quit the BS and tell us what team you really root for….Want to give it a try?

If you're going to troll,

at least get creative with it. Why keep posting the same junk over and over? And why us? Go bother the ND or Penn State folks for a while.

Gents

I have enjoyed the interaction but will now say my farewells. I don’t know much about Blogs and message boards as you can tell because I apparently violated quite a few rules of etiquette. It was fun. I have nothing against your team and just wanted to see what kind of reaction I would get, and it was good. Apologize for getting in your business, you’re obviously very proud of your team. So now I’ll leave the parting shots to you…

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
