Rashad Johnson signs with Arizona Cardinals

Rashad has his contract signed though financial details have yet to be disclosed (Revenge of the Birds thinks it's only a matter of time before they are leaked, though, so keep checking with them if you're interested). He's expected to contribute right away as the third safety and should see plenty of playing time, so it looks like we're all Cardinals fans now (unless they are playing your chosen NFL team at the time, of course).

Good for Rashad

But my allegiance stops at Crimson and White. I still remember what his Cardinals did to my Falcons during the playoffs last year. That last play on third and twenty…yes, it was Keith Brooking’s fault but still…ugh.

And we Falcoholics expect JPW to give one of the backups a hard time this training camp. Mularkey loves JPW so I’m thinking if he doesn’t win a backup spot, they’ll at least keep him on the practice squad until next season.
