Bama's new beat writer not that new to the beat

Don Kausler Jr., who covered University of Alabama athletics for The News in 1982 and 1983, returns to the beat. Kausler covered Bear Bryant's final season and Ray Perkins' first. I miss Ian Rapport. I was hoping for some more young blood on the Beat. At least this guy has some experience on the Quad, all be it before most of the current students were born.
