Any Bama fans in Texas

So I'm a recent alum in Houston. First of all, I'm looking to see if people gather anywhere to watch the Bama games?

Second, I was wondering if any Bama fans would like to start doing a Friday night tour and go as a group in Bama gear and cheer on Alabama recruits at their high school games. I think it would send a great message and give them a taste of what it will be like to wear the Crimson jersey. It seems like Chad Lindsay is a huge recruit out of the Woodlands, wouldn't it be nice to let him know that he isn't missing out on something by wearing Crimson instead of burn orange?

I like this idea.

I live about 3 hours away in San Marcos but I would definitely love go see a few Alabama recruits in action. As for where to watch games, I’m usually forced to put up with watching them alongside my Longhorn friends.

I'm a BAMA fan in Texas too!

What a great idea, helping to court the recruits. As a result of a recent nasty break-up I absolutely REFUSE to ever go to Houston again, but if you ever get down to San Antonio let me know. We had a couple kids from here considered by Bama when Major Applewhite was the OC.

And 009jpc is right. Everyone here likes either the Horns or the Aggies (and lately the Red Raiders) so I always get stuck watching games with people who don’t exactly share my passion…I also usually watch it with my laptop on the rollbamaroll live feed
