Is this really happening?

I’m so excited….glad to see DJ Fluker with a possible chance to start as a freshman. How long will it be before we see AJ McCarron take some snaps.

So much talent, so little positions…..Good to be building some depth.

Not on CBS again !!

I have never......

seen so many 300 lbs guys on the roster ever. What are they feed them? What ever it is, keep it up!

There are 3 kinds of men. The ones who learn by reading. The few who learn by observation. And the rest have to pee on the electric fence to find out for themselves. Will Rogers

McCarron

seems to have put on some weight….If I remember correctly, he was only in the 175ish range when he committed because I remember thinking that he was definitely not physically ready with that frame and only being in the 170’s…..Can someone confirm this?

That isn’t to say that I think he should play this year, but I definitely feel good about him being a backup if he can get in the 200 range for 2010

Also

Something that sticks out to me a good bit is the overall physical presence of some of the wide recievers we’ll have for the next few years….Before Julio, I don’t remember us having several “big” target options in the recieving corp to look to….There is still a need for the Maze, Kenny Bell-type burners, but now that we have Julio, KK, Mike Bowman, Mike McCoy, and Earl Alexander….I feel pretty good about Gmac getting some big boys to throw to over smaller corners……awesome

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
