Deaderick was hospitalized Monday night after being shot in a robbery attempt in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Rice Mine Road in Tuscaloosa, police at the scene confirmed to the Press-Register. Deaderick was reportedly wounded in the arm and taken to the emergency area at DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa for treatment around 10:30 p.m.
Hospital spokesperson Brad Fisher confirmed after midnight that Deaderick was being treated at the hospital and was in "good" condition. Fisher said Deaderick had been admitted for the night into a regular room not in intensive care.
