Nick Saban Fired!?!!
Coach Saban, rockin the sans-a-belt.
Ohio State head coach Earl Bruce did just that in 1981 after the Buckeyes barely held off Navy, 31-28, in the Liberty Bowl. According to this story in today's Dayton Daily News, the inability of the team to land running back Napoleon McCallum - who was a native of Ohio but went to Navy - may have prompted the outspoken Bruce to axe three assistants, including defensive backs coach Nick Saban. Think that explains his zeal for recruiting today?

Doesn't
even look like him. I had to read the caption just to find him in the photo.

i had no problem finding him at all...
he’s the one that looks like he’s ready to drop into a three-point stance and launch into the photographer.
Earle Bruce
was so crappy that he got replaced by John Cooper. They fired a guy who couldn’t recruit but beat Michigan and hired a guy who could recruit but couldn’t beat Michigan.
MATRIX: Bennett, I thought you were--
BENNETT: Dead? You thought wrong. Ever since you had me thrown out of the unit, I've been waiting to pay you back. Do you know what today is, Matrix? Payday.
Is that a typo?
It says Earle Bruce is standing….
