My heart says cocks...
but, I think after they shake off the funk, Ole Miss will put this one away by 13-14 points (I’m calling OM 30 USCe 17).

that's what she said!
know how I know you’re gay?
Sorry, I had to. Ole Miss looks sloppy on tackling, SCar is the commonlaw possessor of the ball, since OM can’t get much going offensively. Not what I expected out of the Rebs…just undisciplined…not able to execute offensively. With 3 minutes to go in the 3rd, anything can happen; but, I’m ready to call this one for the Gamecocks.
me too

I want...
… to see Ole Miss win this one just so it makes our match-up with them that much more highly-touted and anticipated, but my gut instinct tells me that South Carolina breaks through with a win against them.

Did you see Saban on ESPN's College Football Live ?
ESPN’s starting this new segment called “The Road to the BCS” and their first stop was T-town. Nick started his own tradition by giving them an Alabama helmet with the no. 1 on it, to ride along their road trip. He also sent along a box of Little Debbie oatmeal cakes, apparently they can’t get them up north.
Got that winning feelin'
Well...
He also sent along a box of Little Debbie oatmeal cakes, apparently they can’t get them up north.
If that’s true, we never have to worry about Saban leaving for Notre Dame, Penn State, Michigan, etc.
by outsidethesidelines on Sep 24, 2009 6:33 PM CDT up reply actions
Saban seemed pretty happy on the show....
he appeared very relax, you know how he is in front of the camera.
I hope that’s a sign of him having the team heading in the direction he likes.
Got that winning feelin'
I laughed...
At Saban’s remark about Cody knowing where his oatmeal creme cookie jar was.

Lol, I missed that...

by outsidethesidelines on Sep 24, 2009 6:44 PM CDT up reply actions
One of the crew made a comment along the lines of “Make sure Cody doesn’t get to those before I do!” after Saban presented them the box of Little Debbie oatmeal creme things (pies? cookies? Whatever they are) and Saban came right back with something to the effect of “Don’t worry, he knows where I keep my cookie jar.”

1. I don’t ever, in 20 years, remember seeing any SOS team that had discipline on the field.
2. OM is a bunch of punks…M. Green is going to get his damned head knocked off.
3. SoCar’s skills players (except Garcia), are young and really, really fast.

Garcia tried to do too much on that sack/fumble
He was too busy trying to keep fighting when it was clear he was gonna go down no matter what.
Swinging around, the 2nd Ole Miss hit jarred the ball free.
Fumbles. It was always Fumbles

We should be able to
Run at will on USCe and throw all over OM. Put them together and you have a decent defense.

Oh, Ole Miss fans...
One of my facebook friends had this status last night after the game:
This loss sucks, but it doesn’t matter — as long as we beat Bama and LSU we’ll still win the SEC West.
Now, I’m not sure if he and I were watching the same game. The Ole Miss offense could hardly move the ball against a Gamecock defense which hardly registered as a speed bump to UGA last week . . . the same UGA squad that couldn’t move the ball against Okie State . . . the same Okie State team that gave up 500 yards to Houston.
Now, the transitive property doesn’t really hold particularly well in college football, but man… there’s just no reason to believe that the UGA offense is particularly amazing or that the South Carolina defense is all that great, either…
In his defense, he deleted the status this morning… but wow.

well, i see the point you are making...
…but you have to admit, the comment is factually correct. if ole miss wants to win the sec west, they’ll now have to beat lsu and bama.
Nonsense
Ole Miss is 0-1 in the SEC west. It is actually numerically impossible to win the division with a 2-6 record. They might need to be ‘Bama and LSU to do it, but beating them won’t be enough.
Idiot’s comment assumes that they’ll go undefeated in the rest of their SEC games which is an awfully generous proposition.
